The Guss Hayes Band

Magical Irish music provided by County Clare native Guss Hayes and his band has been part of the fabric of the city of Yonkers and beyond for three decades, and not just during the month of March!

The Guss Hayes Band plays a variety of music, ranging from contemporary to classic, Irish to American Songbook, music guaranteed to start your toes tapping and put a smile on your face.

      Not only does Guss sing like an angel, his commentary and wonderful, whimsical sense of humor will uplift all our spirits, something we all very much need.

This definitely will be another Untermyer Performing Arts Council program you will not want to miss!

Recognition of the Contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

We thank the indigenous peoples, caretakers of Mother Earth for many millennia, realizing and respecting her gifts of water, fire and air. This relationship is based on their profound spiritual connection to Mother Earth, the connection that guided their ancestors to practice reverence, humility and reciprocity.

Everything taken is used with the understanding only what is needed is taken. What is taken is watchfully used, aware of the amount taken and the method with which it is taken, to ensure future generations are not put in peril

We gratefully acknowledge the Native peoples on whose ancestral homelands we present our .performances, as well as the Native Communities who make their home in the Yonkers area today.
